The challenge awaiting you:

As a Data Qualification Specialist, you are the specialist in vehicle / parts identification and classification, in particular alignment with industry standards ACES/PIES. You ensure that vehicles worldwide are correctly identified and linked to the right technical data, developing the vehicle identification structure -- the Global Identification Tree (GIT) -- covering all brands and models, from scooters to passenger cars, from excavators to heavy-duty trucks. Based on manufacturer data and external sources, you ensure that vehicles are correctly connected via VIN numbers, license plate information, and other external data links, so that customers always reach the correct technical data for the right vehicle.

You'll be contributing to a variety of projects, while developing your skills and reaching new levels of expertise.

The tasks awaiting you:

You will be responsible for :

  • Vehicle identification & data modeling. Develop and maintain the hierarchical Global Identification Tree (GIT), translating OEM vehicle data into structured identification logic, interpreting VIN decoding standards (ISO 3779 and manufacturer-specific), and maintaining version control across vehicle lifecycle changes.
  • Data integration & external linking. Implement and validate license plate-to-vehicle type mappings, integrate external data sources into the GIT framework, and ensure consistency between manufacturer data, third-party datasets, and customer systems and APIs.
  • Data quality & validation. Perform data consistency checks and structural validations, resolve identification conflicts or data mismatches, and develop Excel-based validation models and control sheets, supporting BI analysis and reporting.
  • Systems & collaboration. Work within our internal system (WIM), collaborating closely with technical stakeholders, OEM data providers, and IT teams.

Requirements
  • You are a technically skilled professional with experience in the automotive industry, and knowledge of ACES/PIES standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with proven experience in the garage/workshop business and strong technical knowledge of vehicles.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience working with databases and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately with large datasets.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Team player with a willingness for a hands-on approach.
