Here are the roles and responsibilities:

1.       Data & AI QA Intern:

2.       Testing and Debugging: AI QA interns are expected to develop and execute test plans to assess AI algorithms, data quality, and system performance. They identify, document, and track bugs, and are involved in debugging and defining corrective actions for AI models.

3.       Collaboration and Communication: Interns participate in daily team discussions, drive stakeholder demos, and collaborate with development and product teams to enhance AI product quality. They provide updates on testing status to QA leads, project managers, and business stakeholders.

4.       Automation and Scripting: Developing automated test scripts and creating comprehensive test suites for web applications are common tasks. Interns may also be involved in creating SQL scripts to verify data flow between front-end and back-end systems.

5.       Data Analysis and Reporting: AI QA interns analyze data to evaluate deviations in processes and conduct controls testing. They also perform load and stress tests on servers and use tools like Python to track defects.

6.       Skill Development: Interns are expected to be proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java, and familiar with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. They should understand AI principles and algorithms, and have knowledge of software development life cycles and QA methodologies

2.       Technical Skills:

3.       Programming Proficiency: Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ is crucial for automating tests and developing applications.

4.       Knowledge of AI models including LAMA | Genmini | Perplxity | or imaging  would be plus

5.       Must hold on SQL for BQ | Mariadb | DB (any one or more…)

6.       Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like Appiums / Selenium Webdriver / Playwright / other UI Libraries and Jira for automated and manual testing is beneficial.

7.       Understanding of QA Basics: A solid grasp of quality assurance principles and methodologies is essential.

8.       Data Analysis: Ability to perform data entry and regression testing to ensure data quality and system performance

4.       Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively collaborating with team members and communicating findings to stakeholders.

5.       Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically to identify and resolve issues, as well as to understand complex scenarios and test cases.

6.       Teamwork: Willingness and ability to work collaboratively within a team, often in a cross-functional environment.

7.       Attention to Detail: Precision in testing to identify and document even the smallest defects.

Note: Some of the tech skills are optional other than Python/ all AI models as you may learn them during the internship given a good attitude & energy toward learning.
