We are currently seeking Senior Data Engineer (ELT) and you will work as part of our team in Vietnam, with a close bond with the APAC regional team. This role design and optimize scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines using advanced Python and SQL. This is a fully remote role offering flexibility in work hours and location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large datasets efficiently using Python and SQL
- Ensure efficient data processing and storage across sources using PostgreSQL, Oracle, and more.
- Tune SQL and Python code for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate and manage diverse data sources.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Data Engineering with expert-level Python and SQL skills.
- Proven track record in building scalable ETL pipelines and working with large datasets.
- Strong grasp of query optimization, database performance tuning, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Self-starter with solid problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with GCP Services such as BigQuery, GCP Storage, and Bigtable is a plus.
