Main Responsibilities:

• Review, develop, implement and maintain data protection policies and procedures.
• Be a part of team to Implement systems and controls to ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation and regulations.
• Create, maintain and update the register and data mapping of all data used in enterprise, including the purpose of all processing activities.
• Monitor compliance with GDPR, other applicable privacy regulations, company policies related to the protection of personal data and best practices in industry.
• Undertake periodic data protection audits of Evolution’s systems and processes and its suppliers’ systems and processes.
• Manage a programme of staff awareness training, to deliver compliance and foster a culture of data security within the organisation.
• Be the support of contact for supervisory authorities and for individuals whose data is processed (employees, customers etc.).
• Work closely with IT, Operations, HR, Legal and Compliance, Security to create and maintain data registers.

Qualifications

• Secondary (higher, special etc.) education or relevant experience and proven track record in the related discipline.
• Strong experience in data protection and data privacy topics and technical knowledge in information security, security systems planning.
• Detailed knowledge of information security, data privacy related question taking in to action various ISO standards and government requirements.
• Experience in Data auditing.
• Understanding and experience involvement with Data privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of data privacy legislation including GDPR.
• Experience in managing data incidents and breaches.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written.
• High sense of responsibility; honesty, integrity.
• Ability to work within the team.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritize tasks and projects
