Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
You will support the challenge of aligning technical development with business value by working within a cross-functional team in a collaborative Agile environment. As an IT Product Owner I, you will assist in bridging the gap between product roadmaps and day-to-day execution data systems and basic network dependencies are prioritized to meet customer needs. Your mission is to help maintain team velocity and ensure that delivered features meet defined business and technical standards.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that align with strategic business requirements and provide operational value
- Assist in translating the product vision into a prioritized backlog of detailed user stories and clear acceptance criteria
- Identify and document basic system dependencies across APIs and data services to support cohesive product development
- Track and report team performance and delivery using Agile metrics, including velocity, capacity, and iteration retrospectives
- Assist in coordinating with specialized IT teams, such as Security, Data Architecture, and Compliance, to perform impact analysis for new requirements
- Support the execution of acceptance testing and help coordinate production deployments to ensure new features meet functional standards
- Utilize AI-driven productivity tools to streamline the creation of user stories and assist in generating technical documentation
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):
- Foundational understanding of Agile methodologies, with the ability to participate in iteration planning and grooming sessions
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, system dependencies, and relational database management concepts
- Developing analytical skills for performing basic technical and functional impact analysis on system requirements
- Good communication and organizational skills used to support cross-functional resources and work with stakeholders in a distributed environment
- Aptitude for learning and troubleshooting basic IT networking and data processes
- Interest in an AI Innovation mindset, learning to apply emerging AI tools to enhance requirement elicitation and product documentation
- Exposure to or participation in the lifecycle of IT products or software development processes
Additional Qualifications:
- Basic familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow for backlog tracking and operations
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance)
- 1+ years of experience as an Associate Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or an equivalent technical support/coordination role
- Foundational understanding of Agile processes and methodologies (Scrum/Lean)
- Basic familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
