As a Data Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and management of data-driven products that leverage company data assets to drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and business goals.


In this role, you will:

  • Product Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to define the strategic direction for data products, aligning them with overall business objectives and market opportunities
  • Product Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, features, and milestones, taking into account market trends, customer feedback, and technical feasibility
  • Requirement Gathering and Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements. Prioritize features based on business impact, technical complexity, and customer value
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with data engineering, data science, data analytics, and other cross-functional teams to drive the development and delivery of data products. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
  • Product Development Oversight: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and design to implementation and deployment. Ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards and user expectations
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of data products. Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on product development progress, soliciting feedback, and addressing concerns or questions
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies that may impact the delivery of data products. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruption and ensure project success

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in product management, with a focus on data-driven products and technologies
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization concepts
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with rapidly evolving priorities and requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs

The annual OTE is up to $180,000 (base + bonus combined).
