The Role

Overview
Drive the development and delivery of data products for our internal customers. Lead the creation and enhancement of data extracts, dashboards, and other data-related solutions, ensuring that they meet the needs of our stakeholders. Oversee project management aspects of data product initiatives.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development process of data products, from gathering requirements to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on stakeholder input and business goals.
  • Clearly articulate and document user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for data product features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to deliver high-quality solutions on time, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the extraction and delivery of high-quality data extracts for various internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Investigate data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies, working closely with data source owners, data engineers and analysts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Coach stakeholders on best practices for data capture, analysis, visualization, and interpretation, empowering them to leverage data effectively in their decision-making processes.
  • Establish self monitoring analytic capability for the Data & Analytics team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics, and incorporate new knowledge into product development strategies.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a product management, preferably with a focus on data products.
  • 5+ years of experience with agile/scrum technologies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, dashboarding platforms (e.g., Power BI, Preset), and experience working with SQL databases and querying data.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong understanding of data technologies, data governance and analytics.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Visionary mindset with a passion for driving innovation through data products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Results- oriented with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • The benefits of this position include group health insurance including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as 401k match, life insurance, long-term disability, and paid time off. Starting salary $110,000 + 25% based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
