Lesaffre Digital & Data ambitions
Lesaffre’s Digital & Data journey started some years’ ago with a strong push to encourage and cross-fertilize initiatives across the organization. Business impact of some of these first actions (Sales efficiency tools, My Lesaffre App for Bakers, digitalization of key operations etc…) have confirmed the importance of accelerating this journey.
Digital & Data are to become a fundamental transformative force for Lesaffre growth. On one hand, as a lever to increase customer centricity and user experience. On the other, to bring operational excellence across the company.

To accelerate this journey, a substantial additional effort is being put in place. The recent arrival of a Chief Digital & Data Officer (ExCom member) has marked the beginning of this acceleration. With a more structured and results oriented journey, CD&D officer is creating a new organisation. Data and Tech is at the heart of the transformation. A Data and Tech Factory has been created to valorise Lesaffre’s data assets, and deliver use cases, governance capacities, and innovation. Both embedded in the Business and at a Global level, digital & data talents will be crucial to this transformative journey both in the impact to business as well as the development of D&D capabilities.
In this context, Lesaffre is recruiting a Data Product Manager
This position will be part of the Data & Tech Factory and will report to the Head of Data & Tech Products. You will play a key role in shaping our data projects and implementing product strategy and agility across the team.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects/products for a dedicated Domain. You will oversee the complete scope of your products : defining their vision (in collaboration with the business), macro features, roadmap but also the delivery and run phase. You will be responsible for helping to spread Product Management throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities:

You lead the transformation from projects to products on your perimeter

You will be responsible for leading the discovery phase in collaboration of UX/UI: user workshops to gather requirements, identify solutions and co-construct prototypes.

You communicate regularly on the team's progress and any difficulties encountered

You are the main point of contact for all stakeholders for all projects/products of your portfolio.

You are responsible of the agile rituals of your Squad and you will have to write user stories and define acceptance criteria following workshops with the business

You will have to test the developments and assist the users in their tests
-
You will have to create, maintain and prioritize the product backlog
-
You could be in charge of the animation of external ressources
Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment.

Ability to lead a team on a day-to-day basis and helping them to grow.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good skills in Product Management methods

Good skills in agile methods and in associate rituals

Experience on Data projects : Data Ingestion, BI and Data-Science

Ability to challenge requests and to be a strong driver for the different people involved

An experience in the industrial sector and eventuelly in supply chain sector is a plus
Required Qualifications:

At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years as a Product Manager, ideally in a Data Team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is a plus.
