We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to grow our team of data platform experts. Your goal will be to constantly improve and scale our group wide adopted NN Data Analytics Platform or namely NNDAP. The NNDAP team at NN is set-up as a central entity with platform as product thinking, the team empowers other Business Units and Group departments with standardized functional data components that are secured and built as medallion component-based architecture. NNDAP has two missions’ standardization on Data analytics platform and collaborative software development through innersource, fulfilling those missions keeps our internal customers focused on their data challenges. We help all Data teams in product, finance, HR, facility, etc. in delivering reporting and smart data products to their users, based on the building blocks we provide.
Your main responsibilities would be to:

Implement and operate NN-wide shared, critical data management platforms, tools and technologies, in the areas of Data Integration & Quality, Data Governance and Reporting & Analytics.

Perform Ops & Service Delivery including Incident/problem management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Life-cycle Management (LCM)

Enabling the services to be used NN-wide internal customers and support the users of the governance solutions.

Handle OPS responsibilities that includes BU representative communications.

Provide and proactively improve the availability and stability of the platform (including monitoring in Splunk or similar monitoring tools).

Develop and deploy automations using CI/CD pipelines for day to day tasks.

Make sure that the platform is secure and reliable and in accordance with NN policy requirements and processes.
Your profile:

Knowledge and skills on Cloud (Azure, AWS) infrastructure, systems and tools.

Azure Devops experience with setting up pipelines.
-
Demonstrably developed problem-solving ability and working in agile environment.

Experience using Powershell, Bash or Terraform
-
Knowledge and skills on Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra and Microsoft Purview is an advantage.

Knowledge and skills regarding security and compliancy is an advantage.
