Druva is seeking an MSP Metering & Data Operations Manager to own the operational administration, data integrity, reporting, and forecasting capabilities supporting our global Managed Service Provider business.
This role will serve as the operational owner of the m3ter metering platform and the data flows that underpin MSP consumption, billing, forecasting, and business performance reporting. The successful candidate will combine strong data-analysis skills with hands-on platform administration and business acumen.
The primary objective is simple: ensure MSP consumption data is accurate, explainable, actionable, and trusted across the business.
Key Responsibilities
m3ter Platform Administration
- m3ter Platform Administration
Serve as the primary business administrator and subject-matter expert for the m3ter platform supporting Druva's MSP consumption model.
- Configure and maintain meters, products, pricing structures, account mappings, and related platform components.
- Monitor ingestion and processing of MSP consumption data and identify anomalies, failures, or unexpected results.
- Coordinate changes to metering logic as Druva introduces new products, SKUs, consumption models, partners, and commercial programs.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and operating procedures for m3ter administration.
- Partner with Finance, Deal Desk, Product, Engineering, RevOps, and MSP leadership to ensure metering logic accurately reflects commercial agreements.
Data Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Proactively monitor MSP consumption and metering data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify discrepancies between source telemetry, m3ter, CRM, billing, and reporting systems.
- Diagnose data issues and determine whether root causes originate from source data, ingestion, mapping, transformation, metering configuration, or reporting logic.
- Coordinate resolution with Engineering, Finance, RevOps, BI, and other technical teams.
- Establish data-quality checks and exception reporting to identify issues before they affect billing or executive reporting.
- Maintain an issue log and drive recurring data problems through root-cause analysis and permanent remediation.
Consumption Analytics & Reporting
- Create and maintain dashboards showing MSP consumption and business performance.
- Provide reporting at the global, regional, aggregator, partner, tenant, product, and workload levels as appropriate.
- Track consumption trends, activations, growth, downsell, churn, product mix, and other key MSP performance indicators.
- Translate raw consumption data into clear business insights for MSP leadership.
- Develop recurring executive reporting that provides a consistent and trusted view of MSP performance.
Forecasting & Business Intelligence
- Build, maintain, and support MSP forecasting dashboards and underlying data models.
- Develop consumption-based indicators that improve the accuracy and predictability of ARR forecasts.
- Track actual consumption and ARR performance against forecast, plan, pacing, and historical trends.
- Identify partners, tenants, products, or workloads driving material forecast changes.
- Provide early-warning indicators for unexpected consumption declines, stalled activations, downsell risk, or unusual growth.
- Support quarter-end forecasting and reconciliation activities.
Cross-Functional Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for questions regarding MSP consumption data and m3ter reporting.
- Partner closely with MSP Sales, Finance, RevOps, BI, Engineering, Product, and Deal Desk.
- Support investigation of partner billing or consumption questions with clear, data-backed explanations.
- Translate business requirements from MSP leadership into scalable reporting, metering, and analytics solutions.
- Reduce manual reporting and reconciliation through automation wherever practical.
