Data Operations Analyst
You will join the Data Products Operations Team which is focused on delivering value to our clients through actionable insights derived from YouGov’s industry-leading brand tracking products, including BrandIndex. The team supports internal and external stakeholders by ensuring accurate brand tracking, robust platform configuration, high data quality, and reliable delivery of insights.
Our team plays a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of YouGov’s syndicated products, acting as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and technical systems to ensure seamless execution, platform stability, and trusted data outputs.
About the Role
As a Data Operations Analyst, you will be a key member of the Data Products Operations team, responsible for the operational setup, maintenance, and support of the BrandIndex platform. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to manage brand additions, custom variables (triggers), platform configuration, data delivery, and troubleshooting.
This role requires strong attention to detail, technical curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple workflows while ensuring data accuracy and client satisfaction.
Shift timings: 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM IST
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will report into the Client Services Manager and will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational execution across BrandIndex. While responsibilities may vary day-to-day, they will largely focus on the following:
Custom Variables (Triggers)
▪ Conduct feasibility checks for new custom variables
▪ Create compilers and submit Agiloft requests
▪ Perform quality checks on scripting, test surveys, and review output data
▪ Manage modifications and deactivations of existing custom variables
Brand Additions
▪ Review and activate QSLs for new brand additions
▪ Support ongoing brand tracking setup and validation
Platform Configuration & User Management
▪ Manage dashboard permissions and access levels
▪ Move users between accounts and edit user information and permissions
▪ Create new company accounts and trial accounts
▪ Migrate user assets as required
▪ Add and manage custom variables (triggers) within the platform
Data Delivery
▪ Create compilers and Agiloft requests for data pull and delivery
▪ Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
Client-Facing Documentation
▪ Update and maintain the global brand list and other client-facing documentation
Troubleshooting & Support
▪ Investigate and resolve issues related to analysis, dashboards, composite filters, custom sectors, and BrandIndex functionality
▪ Respond to internal and client queries regarding the BrandIndex tool
Internal Audits
▪ Conduct periodic internal sector audits to ensure brands are tracked on time and testing requirements are met
API Support
▪ Participate in API onboarding calls
▪ Enable API permissions and troubleshoot API-related issues

Proficiency in Python, R and SQL.
