High Point University is currently seeking a Data Manager. The primary responsibilities of this position include managing the school’s procurement and budgeting processes, as well as overseeing the collection and maintenance of data required for state and federal accreditation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience and Training
- A minimum of five years of fulltime experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of accounting and procurement systems, along with skills in data collection, entry, and analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. The candidate must also ensure the confidentiality of student records and test data. Additionally, the ability to multitask in a public-facing environment with both students and faculty present is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Procurement and receipt of supplies and services
- Manage and monitor the organization’s budget
- Collect, analyze and report on student data using the school’s data management system, WaterMark for Student Learning and Licensure in support of state and national accreditation
- Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, faculty and visitors
- Other duties as assigned
ACCOUNTABILITY:
The individual will report to the School of Education Dean, and will have regular contact with faculty, University staff, and students.
