As a Data Management Associate Senior in the Data Quality Item Management team, you play a critical role in improving data quality across the item management lifecycle. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions that support the firm's strategic goals.
Job responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and analysis of data quality items within specific business areas
- Manage the progression of data quality items through all lifecycle phases, ensuring SLAs are met
- Conduct root cause analysis and establish timelines for resolution
- Build strong partnerships with Controls, Product and Data Owners, Technology, and other stakeholders
- Provide insights to support tactical and strategic resolution paths
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and working groups
- Oversee timely execution of tasks and escalate issues as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, Data Science, MIS, Statistics, or related field with five years of experience
- Extensive experience in data analytics, data lineage, data governance, risk, controls, or compliance
- Advanced skills in SQL, MS Excel, and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of Alteryx
- Experience with data analysis in AWS or other cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in data storytelling
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality results
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expertise in consumer banking products, systems, and regulatory requirements
- Experience collaborating with technology teams in an analyst, risk, or technical capacity
- Proficiency in AI/ML, Python, and AWS data tools
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a desire to learn and build partnerships
