This position will be responsible for leading all data-related activities within the Americas in the areas of data management, conversion, and quality. The America’s Data Lead will participate and lead the profiling, analysis, cleansing, mapping, transformation, and validation of data extracted from various systems for loading into ERP’s and/or related applications. Responsibilities include working with functional and business teams to define data strategies, and leading the team to complete source-to-target mapping, develop and test conversion logic, and execute conversion related processes. This position will be a key leader in Air Liquide’s global ERP consolidation program (ALign) to work with the business and IT leadership teams to execute per program timelines, develop data-related processes, and define an end-state governance organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Americas data team with overall data responsibility for businesses in North and South America
Participate in the implementation of the global ERP consolidation programs (ALign)
Work across all business and IT teams to develop data strategies for programs, projects, and run-state activities
Lead mapping and design sessions for data conversions
Define and lead data cleansing and conversion activities
Design and educate the business on data audit processes
Participate and lead processes in support of data cleansing, data audit reporting, data de-duplication, and cutover-conversions (simulation and final go live).
Scope includes all master data and transactional data objects, as well as all processes related to data maintenance and quality
Support troubleshooting data issues
Ad hoc duties based on communication and updates from the business or IT management.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline
10+ years experience in a related field: Business/Operations, Finance, IT, and/or Project Management
5+ years managing teams of internal associates and 3rd party resources
Experience with managing multiple ERP system integration projects required
Preferred Education and Experience:
SAP system integration experience highly preferred
LATAM experience a plus
