Role Purpose:

  • Research, analyze, and respond to client data inquiries regarding data trends, data applications, IQVIA systems, or methodologies.
  • Ensure resolutions for the client data inquiries meet the timelines outlined in the Service Level Agreement
  • Perform weekly proactive analysis of key client markets and promoted products to identify potential data anomalies and data processing-related issues, and ensures appropriate corrective actions were taken
  • Perform quality checks to various supplier management reports, and provides sign-off

Job Description:

  • Receive and respond to client data inquiries via email or through the IQVIA customer portal
  • Utilize various office applications and IQVIA tools to research, analyze, and resolve inquiries that require an understanding of the client and their business, the pharmaceutical market, and IQVIA data and processes
  • Understand and can effectively communicate routine database processes and methodologies for client inquiry resolution
  • Provide formal written communications both internally and externally regarding cause, status, and resolution of the issue/s.
  • Work with various IQVIA internal departments to validate and/or correct data and database issues, and ensure inquiry responses are meeting Service Level Agreement guidelines
  • Follow the standard escalation process to ensure resolution
  • Maintain and enhance data quality by analyzing trends and resolving potential market/database anomalies identified through accelerated product and product/supplier outlier identification tools.
  • Complete basic data analysis and provide guidance to clients
  • Participate in internal service meetings as needed or whenever assigned
  • Contribute on identifying process improvement opportunities

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s /College Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills, can process and understand large amounts of data to isolate issue in question, identify patterns and trends in data sets
  • Can comprehend complex concepts and processes
  • Knowledge and relevant background on IQVIA syndicated sales and prescription data, and in-depth understanding of the US pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Can effectively communicate with various levels of the organization
  • Strong ability to deal tactfully with internal and external clients through emails or calls
