Job Description

Data Integrations Operations Lead

The Lead of data Integration Operations should have a background in EDI and integration operations with experience in leading small teams in a wide variety of EDI and integration technologies. This role will lead an operations team of data integration analysts that will provide onboarding and ongoing maintenance of trading partners as well as monitoring, support, and maintenance of various types of integrations such as data sharing, file transfers, APIs, etc. This role must balance operations leadership and people management skills while empowering the team to deliver best-in-class operational support and data integration services. To be successful, this candidate requires expertise in a variety of technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day team leadership and resource development of data Integrations operations team.
  • Oversee operational support for integration platforms and applications, including issue resolution.
  • Manage work intake, prioritization, assignment, and maintenance of day-to-day EDI and other data integrations.
  • Liaison between trading partners and internal teams.
  • Liaison between internal business teams and the Integrations/EDI team.
  • Provide ongoing internal customer support for integration product questions and problems.
  • Participate in and provide support for the design and implementation of new systems.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for implementation and integration of EDI transaction maps.
  • Support the transition of EDI systems to next-generation environments and maintain EDI process documentation.
  • Develop global processes related to integration services and support.
  • Ensure an appropriate level of support for the ongoing performance of integration processes and applications.
  • Propose and lead initiatives to continuously improve integration processes and build innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and optimize business processes.
  • Create run books and knowledge bases for the platform operations team.
  • Generate and present operational metrics (volumes, errors, trends, etc. to various stakeholders.
  • Provide audit & compliance support.
  • Define internal processes for the team/department such as change management, team engagement, project implementation, SLA for services etc.
  • Carry out personnel management activities including performance management and career development.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in EDI and/or data integration operations in a team leadership role.

WE VALUE:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of EDI & data integration processes.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ERPs like Epicor P21, SAP, JDE, etc, & CRMs like Sales Force.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of EDI ANSI X12/EDIFACT standards, including series documents such as 850/Purchase Order, 855/Purchase Order Acknowledgement, 856/Advanced Shipment Notice, and 810/Invoice.
  • Expert understanding of EDI Mapping process and deployment.
  • Basic understanding of API-based data integrations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and in English.

Other Requirements

  • On-call production support including evenings and weekends, when required
