Data Integration Supervisor

Trax Technologies provides cloud-based solutions and services to automate and manage freight invoice auditing and payment processing for buyers and sellers of logistics services. The Trax platform enables companies to optimize supply chain performance through greater visibility into their logistics ecosystem and predictive analytics based on over 1 billion logistics transactions from all industries, modes and countries. Trax operates on a global scale with offices in the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

This position works within our Professional Services – Technical Services team to support our clients in accurately assigning and reporting logistics invoice costs from our system to their internal cost accounting system.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for oversight of Data Integration Supervisors, Data Integration Specialists and Data Integration Analysts who collectively configure all EDI and Flat File maps for carrier invoicing and customer EDI interfaces.

· Accountable for the work performed by the staff in Data Integration relating to the validity and testing of all carrier invoices being processed electronically (EDI, Flat File) into Trax applications. Data Integration Supervisors are responsible for the accuracy of the data using the established, standard mappings for all carrier invoice data received.

· Design, maintain and document all Trax standard EDI maps for carrier invoicing and 997 responses, where applicable. This includes the development of the UAT and QAT testing for these maps, workflow and, where indicated, overflow into data normalization. Troubleshooting translation or process flow issues and ultimately making modifications needed to support Trax solutions, for all Operational needs.

· Available to consult with leadership, customers, and developers in support of 810, 824a/824b, X12 810, and other processes where data is sent and received via EDI data sets, including designing, testing, and deploying mappings. It does not include any Trax/Customer system to system integration such as shipment data/match, accounts payable files, custom reports, payment remit information, etc.

· Interface verbally and in writing with the Carrier Onboarding team, Carriers, and management to ensure EDI and Flat File mapping standards are reinforced and utilized in the onboarding process.

· Exhibit personal accountability to prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables. Manage environment to accommodate multiple competing priorities to meet expected deadlines.

· Generate and administer all HR required functions including, but not limited to, Individual Supervision, Annual Assessments, etc. as determined by Trax Operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Prior management experience is preferred, but not required, as this is a supervisory position and carries responsibilities of staff oversight.

· Strong background in root cause analysis, research and problem-solving.

· Able to interpret large amounts of accounting data in various formats.

· Knowledge of X12, EDIFACT, XML, and Flat file standards/formats; freight invoice knowledge is preferred.

· Data mapping experience is a core requirement.

· Informatica knowledge and experience is a plus.

· Experience organizing information based on documentation analysis and interviews.

· Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with evidentiary experience in leading groups through design sessions.

· Accounting and/or financial systems experience as well as freight invoice knowledge experience is preferred, but not required
