About the role:
As a Software Developer in the Data and Integration space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will focus on designing and developing comprehensive solutions utilizing MuleSoft, Cloud Integration Operations etc. Your role also involves the optimization of solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability, while also implementing robust audit, monitoring, backup, and archival solutions to support data integrity and compliance. Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, you will translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with both business and IT teams to ensure robustness, accuracy and consistency.
By designing and implementing sophisticated MuleSoft solutions, this role directly contributes to PDT's ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and ultimately, competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help Takeda drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.
This position will align to data & analytics chapter of the ICC and initially report to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic direction as well as day-to-day management until the role of MuleSoft Senior Software Developer for Data & Integration is filled within Takeda ICC. This is expected to be completed by early 2025, post which the reporting and managerial responsibilities will be transitioned accordingly.
How you will contribute:
- Gather and analyze integration requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications and design documents
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
- Implement project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the required quality standards
- Collaborate with the team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance, and operational lifecycle
- Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & cloud integration operations and delivery
- Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features, capabilities, and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience using Mulesoft, A2A and B2B integration
- Should have worked with SOA/EAI and MVC architectures
- Experience on MuleSoft runtime versions 3.5 and above with experience on 2 to 3 mid-range to large integration projects
- Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and training, defining support procedures, and implementing multiple business solutions under tight time constraints
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with one or more of the following: TIBCO BusinessWorks, IBM ESB/BPM, Web Methods ESB, Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA/BPM, JBoss Fuse ESB, Mule ESB, Talend ESB, custom-developed REST APIs.
- Experience working on CloudHub, Mule ESB, Connectors (Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, Workday), API Manager-RAML, Batch Processing, Data Transformations using Data Weave & Data Mapper, Flow Controls, Exception Handling Strategies and Security implementation using OAuth and SAML
- Experience of Build and Test Automation and Continuous Integration (CI) using Jenkins/Hudson tools
