As a Data Specialist at the Operations team, you’ll have a very hands-on scope of work. We expect you to be able to consistently query our data warehouse, transform its data, and build analytical data models that can turn into real effective data assets for our business analysts in Operations around the globe. You'll also be responsible for automation of data routines, and guaranteeing its documentation and continuity. We expect a a real advocate of a data-driven culture, leading another data analyst in that mission and eventually upskilling business peers in data skills.
What you’ll do
- Create and maintain data models that will be consumed by the Operations business analysts in Brazil;
- Manage Brazil Operations data domain (Snowflake, DBT and Airflow) in collaboration with Global Operations data analysts;
- Collaborate actively and closely with Global Operations data analysts on global data models, KPIs and visualizations;
- Develop and support the analyst in the Data team and create a data-driven culture for other business analysts inside Operations;
- Manage and prioritize demands incoming from BR market stakeholders;
- Actively participate in OKR discussions of the team and wider areas related to Operations.
You’ll be great for this role if you
- Speak advanced English and feel comfortable communicating with global teams;
- Have good problem solving skills;
- Have advanced SQL;
- Have solid experience with data querying, transformation and modelling through SQL;
- Have good experience in data visualization (preferably with Tableau);
- Have at least intermediate level of Python;
- Have prior experience with ETL/ELT, and understanding of its concepts;
- Have prior experience with people management, either direct or mentoring, and project leading.
