Data Insight Analyst
Labcorp is looking for an exceptional Data Analyst to join the Market Insights and Analytics team and help augment its Insights and Analytics capabilities. As an integral member of a growing team, the Data Analyst will be an essential operational role between the data architect and the business intelligence analysts. The Data Analyst is responsible for obtaining business intelligence analyst data needs, mapping those needs to the appropriate data sources and datasets and working with the data architect to make sure that those data are made available in the Marketing data lake. The Data Analyst is also responsible for developing queries against marketing and enterprise data stores to power BI solutions and answer ad hoc analytics needs. By aiding data-driven insights and advanced analytics, this role will help the organization better serve its customers by providing the needed market, product, and customer insight.
This Mumbai/ Bangalore based role will collaborate closely with the Data Architect and Business Intelligence Analysts to ensure access to the data needed for efficient and repeatable analytics and insights. We're seeking passionate, self-motivated individuals who can energize our fast-paced, dynamic team with their creativity, practical experience, and bias for action. This team member will care deeply about our customers and each other and is essential to the efficient functioning of the Insights and Analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep familiarity with our enterprise and marketing product, customer, and market data to power insights and analytics outputs including customer 360, customer journey, personalization, segmentation, content recommendation, targeting, pricing, market intelligence, taxonomy, and marketing performance and impact measurement.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence Analysts to draft requirements that clearly define the necessary data and data sources.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Architect to ensure the necessary data models are available to business intelligence platforms and analysts.
- Be the prime touchpoint between the Business Intelligence Analysts and the Data Architect
- Craft efficient SQL queries to power the Business Intelligence Analysts dashboards and other insight outputs.
- Effectively respond to ad hoc analytics and insight needs leveraging knowledge of our data and exceptional SQL skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Data Science with a strong quantitative background with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Experience/Skills
Required
- 2-3 years of experience working with business analysts to understand insights requirements
- 1+ years of experience writing sql and advanced SQL queries in a prominent dialect (e.g. – PostgresSQL, Databricks, T-SQL, DB2, Oracle)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
- The ability to work effectively across internal organizations and virtual teams
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred
- Understanding of key Martech technologies like Salesforce (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Qualtrics, etc.
- Experience building ETL jobs
- Hands on experience with healthcare data
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Python
