About the Role:
The Data Implementation Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining processes that implement client data from hospital systems into Meduit platforms, including data warehouses, mapping tools, payment portals, and collections systems. This role ensures data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with client and operational requirements. The Data Implementation Engineer partners with Operations, Workflow, Technical Support, and Account Management teams to support client implementations and ongoing data quality across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement client data and support enhancements for existing client integrations
- Configure and maintain ETL processes across multiple structured and unstructured data sources
- Build and support data transformation workflows using commercial ETL tools
- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models, including schemas and tables
- Ensure ongoing data integrity across client implementations and internal systems
- Document, track, and resolve complex data implementation tasks using Jira
- Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Workflow, Technical Support, and Account Management
- Participate in client-facing project meetings to gather requirements and communicate project status, timelines, and updates
- Support implementation of Revenue Cycle data across applicable applications and platforms
- Mentor team members on data implementation processes and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience performing ETL across complex data sets and relational databases
- Experience working with MySQL, MSSQL, or other SQL-based platforms
- Experience with ETL tools such as Talend Data Integration
- Strong understanding of data transformation, mapping, and integration processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS environments
- Experience with Revenue Cycle Management, EDI, X12, or patient accounting systems
- Knowledge of claims and billing processes within healthcare environments
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and scalable data architectures
