Description and Requirements
Position Summary
Position is responsible for supporting the Data Governance Office (DGO) in the delivery of best-in-class methodologies for the design and implementation of the Data Governance Program. This position is responsible for supporting workflow analysis, and in creating Policies, Procedures, and Standards. This position will develop and maintain supporting data governance documentation, including training materials, meeting agendas, announcements, communications plans, project plans, and meeting minutes. The position will create and maintain status reports, issues lists, and monitor metrics and SLA's.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and manage metadata, including Business Glossary and Data Lineage in Collibra Data Governance Center platform
- Support identification and management of Critical Data Elements
- Coordinate the resolution of data governance issues, maintain issues list, follows-up with stakeholders on open 'Action Items'. Establishes ongoing communication with stakeholders to communicate work progress and outcome
- Develop Data Governance Documentation by collaborating with Data Domain Owners and Stewards
- Monitor data governance metrics and SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds
- Support and assist DGO in creating Data Governance deliverables; manage changes to documents and posts updates to portal.
- Work with the Data Governance Office to align project deliverables to operational demand.
- Assist in coordination and scheduling of meetings, creating agendas and meeting minutes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Accounting, Computer Science or Finance as well as any other related field of expertise
Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry in one or more of the following areas: Business Analysis, Data Management, Data Analysis & Reporting, or Project Management
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
- Demonstrate Good verbal communication and relationship building skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Collibra Data Governance Center
- Proven record of excellent business writing skills including presentations, business requirements, project charters, procedures, and standards along with related training materials
- Knowledge of the project and system development lifecycle
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to and manage changes in processes and priorities
