About the Intern Program:

As an intern, you will help lead projects that help shape the future of OCC. This person will apply their skill set and knowledge toward tackling designated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to have a true impact on the company by designing and implementing solutions for real challenges facing the business. Here's what we're looking for:
Projects and Responsibilities:

• Assist with Metadata and data lineage solutions ingesting metadata and creating Source to Target Mapping documents to establish end to end data lineage across disparate data sources - databases, Kafka, APIs, S3, Tableau/Jaspersoft Reports etc.
• Assist in building data quality rules for the critical data elements (CDEs) and manage data quality exceptions
• Assist with Data Governance tool migration from on premise to Cloud/SaaS Environment
• Assist in design and implementation of data quality dashboards and reports

Candidate Qualifications:

• Desired major(s): Computer Science or Information Technology or similar.
• Technical experience desired: SQL, data analysis

What knowledge and skills will the intern gain from this internship?

• Will be involved in OCC's transformation program (Ovation) enabling data governance capabilities with the technical implementation.
