Job Description

Context :

Reporting to the Head of Data Governance, the Data Governance Solutions Manager is responsible for managing the data governance tools and solutions, particularly the Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality domains. They ensure the deployment and evolution of these solutions, in close collaboration with the business teams, to meet the company's needs in terms of master data management and data quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management
    • Manage the MDM team, composed of an MDM Manager (internal) and 2 support staff (consultant) around the EBX solution which will gradually be replaced by Semarchy
    • Define, in collaboration with the MDM Manager, the next evolutions of the MDM solution to cover new needs
    • Manage and support the Product MDM Project Manager (external)
    • Ensure the deployment of the MDM solution for Master Data Partner (Customer, Supplier) and Product 
  • Data Quality
    • Manage the Data Quality team, composed of 2 Data Quality Analysts (consultants), to meet the needs of data domain owners and data stewards in terms of ad-hoc analyses and data quality dashboards
    • Ensure that minimum data quality standards are respected in various projects
  • Cross-functional
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the different stakeholders (business, IT, data governance).
    • Participate in the definition and implementation of the company's data governance strategy.
    • Report on the progress of projects and the impact of data governance solutions to management.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, data management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in data governance, master data management, and data quality improvement.
  • Extensive knowledge of data governance concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency in master data management (MDM), data quality analysis tools and business intelligence (SQL, Snowflake, Power BI).
  • Proven team management and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
  • Analytical mindset, innovative, and adaptable to changes.
