What you will do
The Data Governance Program Manager within the Data Governance team plays a central role in driving continuous improvement across the Sensormatic process and data landscape. This role is responsible for streamlining business data flows, resolving systemic issues, and coordinating remediation efforts across business and IT stakeholder teams. This is performed through targeted process and data analysis, root cause identification, and hands-on field communication and support. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and deeply engaged in supporting Sensormatic Business Operations Platform (BOP) initiatives while maintaining a strong understanding of system integrations and data governance globally.
How you will do it
Business Process Analysis & Stakeholder EngagementUnderstand and document the flow of data across core Sensormatic BOP processes (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
Collaborate with SMEs, IT architects, and data analysts to uncover issues
Collaborate with SMEs to identify manual workarounds within BOP and work to eliminate them or monitor their impact
Use tools and frameworks such as SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, and Swimlane diagrams to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve.
Create, refine, and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) around BOP data where necessary to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement sustainable solutions to remediate root causes.
Analyze data flow, transformation (ETL), and data governance across BOP systems ERP (Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), and field service platforms (ServiceMax).
Collaborate to develop and implement global data standards ensuring data integrity at entry and across data flows
Investigate recurring systems integrations issues and contribute to their resolution in a timely and permanent manner
Analyze integration architecture and data flow diagrams (DFDs) and update/contribute to documentation where gaps or changes exist
Communicate across the IT/business gap and act as a liaison between Sensormatic business groups and Johnsons controls IT departments and on data and integration issues
Lead cross-functional efforts to implement standardized solutions for recurring data flow and integration issues.
Master Data Management
Collaborate with business data owners and IT to identify and document root causes of master data issues
Collaborate with data context owners to develop and deploy actionable plans to continuously improve master data quality, decrease duplicity, and improve governance.
Develop and implement regular reporting of metrics on master data quality and compliance to JCI master data standards
Identify the root causes of recurring data flow and business process errors
Provide hands-on support to field teams, ensuring smooth execution of operations and timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and deploy system fixes.
Lead efforts to resolve business critical errors with urgency and precision.
What we look for
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management, or related Business field or equivalent
5 years’ experience in information technology, data administration, or business operations
2 years’ experience leading cross functional teams
Experience with change management and organizational development.
Proven process and data analysis capabilities.
Effective communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in operational excellence programs, process improvement, or program management.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Experience in SOP development and field operations support.
Strong understanding of Oracle, ServiceMax, Salesforce, & MuleSoft systems.
Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or similar process improvement certification.
Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Draw.io, Power BI, Tableau, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Deep understanding of the Sensormatic BOP architecture and systems integrations

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,100 - $150,400 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
