We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Governance Expert to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in establishing and maintaining a robust data governance framework for our clients. You will be responsible for defining data policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring data quality, and promoting data literacy across the organization. Your expertise in the Informatica suite and data quality best practices will be essential in driving successful data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks: Define data policies, standards, processes, and metrics to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Utilize Informatica Suite: Leverage Informatica tools (e.g., Axon, EDC, IDQ) to automate data governance processes, including data lineage, data quality monitoring, and metadata management.
• Drive data quality initiatives: Implement data quality rules, perform data profiling and analysis, and identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements, define data ownership, and promote data governance best practices.
• Establish data governance metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest data governance trends, technologies, and regulations.

• Hold a Master University Degree in Computer Science, (Business) Engineering, or a specialized master's in Machine Learning or AI, …
• Proven experience: 5+ years of experience in data governance, with a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Informatica expertise: Hands-on experience with Informatica tools, such as Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), and PowerCenter.
• Data quality focus: Proven experience in implementing data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
• Strong communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Dutch or French is mandatory..
