We have an exciting opportunity for you to enhance your career by innovative banking solutions.
As a Data Governance Associate within the Chief Data Office (CDO) Data Catalog Governance team, you are responsible for promoting streamlining and automation initiatives—including the adoption of AI/GenAI—across Data Governance functions, improving process efficiency, standardization, and governance outcomes. You support Consumer & Community Banking lines of business, product teams, and functional partners by delivering catalog reporting and insights that enable effective metadata change management, workflow oversight, and data quality monitoring. You help shape and implement data governance strategies, promoting adoption of standards, processes, and frameworks across business domains. You align lineage practices with data governance, risk, control, and regulatory requirements, contributing to the evolution of lineage maturity models and success metrics. You work closely with technology and product teams to identify and remediate data lineage gaps in the Data Catalog and partner with Data Quality and Controls teams to map critical controls to data flows.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver DG automation solutions: Identify manual and repetitive DG processes and implement automation/streamlining opportunities across functions (metadata, DQ, privacy, access, AI governance, risk).
- Drive AI/GenAI adoption across DG: Partner with DG stakeholders to define use cases, develop proofs of concept, and scale AI/GenAI-enabled solutions that improve governance workflows.
- Requirements gathering & process re-engineering: Facilitate workshops with business and functional partners to document current-state processes, pain points, and future-state designs.
- Solution coordination & rollout: Coordinate implementation plans, change management, training, and communications to ensure adoption across multiple DG functions and teams.
- Governance and controls alignment: Ensure automation solutions align with internal governance requirements (risk, privacy, access, auditability, model/AI governance expectations where applicable).
- Stakeholder management: Act as a key point of contact across CCB Lines of Business, Products, and Functional Areas for DG automation initiatives; track progress and manage dependencies.
- Measurement & continuous improvement: Define KPIs (cycle time reduction, automation rate, data quality improvements, adoption metrics), monitor results, and iteratively enhance solutions.
- Documentation and standards: Maintain documentation for workflows, operating procedures, controls, and solution playbooks to support consistent execution and scalability.
