The Data Fulfillment Team Lead will manage the Data Fulfillment function supporting Optum Insight Life Sciences real-world data products. This role owns the preparation, packaging, certification support, and delivery of Life Sciences products to clients and plays a critical role in the revenue recognition cycle. The leader will provide day-to-day team direction, strengthen delivery discipline, modernize workflows, support client questions, and advance automation and AI-enabled efficiencies. We are looking for a strong people leader, clear communicator, and collaborative partner who can protect delivery quality, client satisfaction, and operational continuity.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Fulfillment operations for Life Sciences product delivery, including preparation, packaging, validation coordination, and client-ready delivery execution
- Manage team priorities, capacity, standards, escalations, and performance outcomes across revenue-critical fulfillment activities
- Strengthen product certification support and help resolve client support questions with timely, accurate, and well-documented responses
- Further modernize delivery processes to improve speed, reliability, scalability, traceability, and operational consistency
- Partner with data engineering, data development and enrichment, product, compliance, and business stakeholders to align fulfillment execution to business priorities
- Identify opportunities to integrate automation and AI into fulfillment workflows to reduce manual effort and improve quality controls
- Expand the team's contribution to RWDS goals, including broader ownership of flawless delivery activities and improved client experience
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture focused on continuous improvement and growth

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data operations, reporting, analytics, fulfillment, data delivery, product operations, or related fields
- 1+ year of management or team leadership experience leading operational, reporting, analytics, data, or delivery teams
- Experience supporting healthcare, Life Sciences, real-world data, or regulated data products
- Experience managing delivery processes, client-facing outputs, operational controls, documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder expectations
- Solid project management, prioritization, organizational, and roadmap planning skills
- Willing to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern data platforms or tools such as Snowflake, Athena, AWS, Databricks, Redshift, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting product certification, client delivery operations and client support questions
- Experience supporting Life Sciences, payer, provider, clinical, claims, enrichment, patient-matching, or regulatory-grade healthcare data products

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
