Dempsey & Siders Agency, Inc. is seeking a Data Entry Intern. Dempsey & Siders, an independent insurance agency, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Insurance Group that has been providing insurance services and benefits solutions to our local and national clients since 1956.
Dempsey & Siders is seeking an intern to for Summer 2025 and based on amount of work remaining at the end of the summer, D&S could offer to extend internship into the 2025/2026 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Data Quality review for primary database (Applied Epic)
- Update contacts for PL and CL clients
- Make sure commission schedules have been entered for all policies
- Clean up migrated data
- Manage Life policies in database
- Enter policies
- Research existing entered policies and make needed corrections (including writing company, dates, insured, etc.)
- Obtain updated information from various carriers or brokers.
- Scan files and attach to database
- Performs other duties and completes miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Education:
- Pursuing a degree in Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance and Risk Management, International Business, or Operations Management
