Our Strategic Sourcing Department looking for a curious, driven, and detail-oriented intern to help us build and implement a robust database system that supports our growing data needs. If you’re passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights and have hands-on experience with Tableau, this is your chance to make a real impact.
This position is located in our Cincinnati, OH office and will work on a hybrid schedule. Must be able to work part-time hours during the spring semester of 2026.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement a relational database tailored to business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and translate them into technical specs
Clean, structure, and migrate data from various sources into the new database
Assist in creation of dynamic Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends
Optimize queries and ensure data integrity, security, and scalability
Document processes and provide recommendations for future improvements
Job Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience with SQL and relational database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and storytelling
Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
