Your future team
You will be part of a world-class Data Engineering team, where you will:

  • influence product teams and business teams
  • inform Data Science and Analytics Platform teams
  • partner closely with data consumers and producers to ensure quality and usefulness of data assets


You will be involved in strategizing measurement, collecting data, and generating insights.
This work will help understand and improve product experience and engagement, optimize efficiency and costs, and drive strategy.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team comprised of various responsibilities, including:

  • Defining metrics
  • Instrumenting logging
  • Acquiring/ingesting data
  • Architecting & modeling data
  • Transforming data
  • Ensuring data quality, governance, and enablement
  • Alerting, visualization, and reporting
  • Developing at scale and improving efficiency
  • Improving systems, processes, and partnerships
  • Challenging the status quo, and driving progress across teams
  • Taking smart risks
  • Leading forward-thinking projects
  • Growing your team through coaching in technical, analytical, and soft skills


Minimum Qualifications / Your background:

  • Bachelor's / Masters degree (or equivalent work experience) in a STEM field
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics or related fields
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams of 4 or more
  • Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving data projects
  • Development proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of data architecture end-to-end, as well as:
    • Experience with data processing performance tuning and optimization
    • Understanding of the role of experimentation in product development
    • Familiarity with Anomaly detection solutions
    • Experience with logging specifications and processing


Additional / Desirable Qualifications:

  • Comfort with structuring teams for success and coaching others
  • Experience being part of an cross functional team
  • Experience with Corporate Financial Systems and Data
