The ideal candidate will bring a blend of architectural vision and hands-on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data warehouses and data integration frameworks.
Requirements:
- Define and design end-to-end data architecture, including enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and data marts
- Lead data modeling initiatives using dimensional modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension design)
- Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions aligned with business and analytics needs
- Establish standards for data modeling, naming conventions, and metadata management
- Lead implementation of Informatica IICS (CDI, CAI, and related services)
- Architect and govern ETL/ELT pipelines supporting data warehouse loading and transformation
- Optimize data integration workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Mentor teams on best practices in ETL development and data warehouse integration
- Define data quality frameworks and validation strategies for warehouse data
- Ensure consistency and integrity across source-to-target data flows
- Implement auditing, lineage, and reconciliation mechanisms
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics needs into data models and warehouse designs
- Partner with BI and analytics teams to ensure data structures support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics
- Collaborate with cloud and enterprise architecture teams
- Oversee implementation of data warehouse solutions, including schema design, ETL development, and deployment
- Support UAT, production rollout, and performance tuning of warehouse environments
- Drive CI/CD and automation practices for data engineering workflows
Preferences:
- 9–11 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, and data warehousing
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration)
- Proven experience in data warehouse modeling and implementation
- Expertise in dimensional modeling (fact tables, dimensions, SCDs, conformed dimensions)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouses and data marts
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks)
- Familiarity with IICS Data Quality (IDQ)
- Knowledge of Data Vault or hybrid modeling approaches
- Experience with Python/Spark for data processing
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
