About the role
To form part of the Data and BI Team, reporting to the Head of BI, the role of a Data Engineer is to carry out designated tasks, projects, and operations, related to the data estate, following the guidance of the Lead Data Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, Build & Enhance both the new and existing data architectures
- Contribute to technical data architecture discussions with the team
- Contribute to R&D tasks within the team when required
- Assist in stakeholder meetings and requirements gathering
- Assist in the daily data operations and maintenance tasks
- Monitor the data loading process chain for the Data Estate
- Perform adhoc data analysis to support business needs
- Support the tracking team and their platforms, including in its operations
Requirements:
- Graduated with an IT Degree or a Relevant Degree in the Area.
- Must have at least 1 years’ working experience as a Data Engineer in the i-gaming business
- Must have working experience with experience in Python or Java or C in an enterprise environment
- Must have working experience in designing, building and maintaining data integration systems and distributed ETL processes in a cloud environment at an enterprise level
- Must have working experience in SQL, and working with relational databases and complex queries
- Must have working experience in the i-gaming industry
- Ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced agile environment
- Must be a good team player
- Highly motivated with good analytical skills
- Must have very good Communication Skills
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English
