About the Role:
Do you thrive on the challenge of turning raw data into powerful insights? We're looking for a Data Engineer who’s not just technically skilled, but fiercely passionate about revolutionizing how data is accessed, transformed, and utilized. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of building and optimizing our data infrastructure, collaborating with forward-thinking data scientists, analysts, and engineers to craft cutting-edge data pipelines and warehouses.
As we boldly shift toward cloud-based solutions, you’ll play a critical role in migrating and modernizing our systems with technologies like AWS, Matillion for ETL, Snowflake for our Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Power BI for analytics reporting. Your work will fuel data-driven decision-making and reimagine how data flows through every corner of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Maintain source code, documentation and artifacts for a project, system, application, or a database in a source control tool.

Lead the development team in the construction of data solutions and tools through mentorship, knowledge guilds and code review to ensure standards and guidelines are being enforced.

Maintain and create unit tests and user acceptance test scripts.

Lead the development of programs, tools, and solutions that will support ingestion, curation, and provisioning of enterprise data to achieve analytics, reporting, and data science.

Develop ETL and data pipeline solutions that meet the defined SLA and standards and guidelines.

Work with business to triage production issues and drive resolution.

Active participation in Agile events to remove blockers, refine stories, plan sprints and demo functionality.

Complies with all Federal Regulations as they pertain to the job duties, including BSA.
Position Requirements:

This position is Remote.

Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience is Required.
-
3+ years of performing data engineering responsibilities is Required.
-
Experience with programming languages such as, Python, etc. as well as writing SQL/NoSQL statements is Required.

Experience in writing and developing unit tests, integration tests, etc. is Required.

Prior working experience with back end, data warehouse solutions and developing microservice and lambda architecture solutions in a Cloud/Hybrid environment is Required.

Participation in service desk and on-call rotation is Required.
