As a Data Engineer Sr within PNC's Asset Management Group and AI Strategy organization. You will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
• This position will focus on PNC’s Big Data transformation within Asset Management Group.
• Successful candidates will have proven experience in Data Architecture, analytics, and large data technology to include Hadoop or similar tools.
• Candidates will be responsible for driving change with business partners and setting expectations.
• Guide and mentor data developers to ensure best practices in data engineering are followed.
• Be highly skilled in developing PySpark data pipelines within Hadoop environment.

Job Description

  • Leads in developing, supporting and implementing data solutions for multiple applications in order to meet business objectives and user requirements. Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
  • Leads data requirement analysis and the data preparation process development for targeted data solutions.
  • Leads in designing and building data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according the workflow.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of data solutions for multiple applications to ensure its scalability, availability and maintainability.
  • Consults on data migration and transformation to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.
