CACI is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). 

Key Responsibilities  

Data Engineer - Senior 

  • The data engineer will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless flow and integrity of data across the organization 

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes 

  • This includes integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing data processing performance 

  • Design and implement data warehouse solutions and data lakes 

  • You will be responsible for defining data models, optimizing data storage, and ensuring efficient data retrieval for analytical and operational purposes 

  • Develop and maintain data infrastructure and tools 

  • This includes building and managing data platforms, implementing data governance policies, and ensuring data security and compliance 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our data architecture 

  • You will play a key role in defining and evolving our data architecture to support the organization's growing data needs 

  • You will share your expertise and experience to help develop the skills and knowledge of other team members 

  • Write clear and concise technical documentation 

  • This includes documenting data pipelines, data models, and other technical solutions 

 

Required Skills:  

  • Current Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain TS is required. 

  • Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.  

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant work experience.  

  • Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I  

  • Stay current with the latest data engineering technologies and trends 

  • You will continuously learn and explore new tools and techniques to improve our data infrastructure and processes

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
