Responsibilities:
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Assist in managing and enhancing the company’s data warehouse and related architecture.
- Work on integrating data from a range of internal and external systems.
- Help monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to make data accessible and actionable.
- Gain hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Superset under the mentorship of senior engineers.
- Contribute to team documentation, data best practices, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Solid understanding of SQL and basic proficiency in Python.
- Some hands-on experience building or maintaining data pipelines (experience with dbt is a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms, ideally GCP.
- Understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling concepts.
- Comfortable using Git and collaborating in a modern development environment.
- A proactive, curious attitude and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Previous experience in fintech or financial services is an advantage, but not essential.
