What You Will Be Doing
- Designing and operating ingestion and transformation pipelines (dbt).
- Integrating external data via APIs.
- Optimising warehouse performance/cost.
- Managing secure access (RBAC) so data remains trusted, governed, and ready for analytics and reporting.
You Are a Good Match If You Have
- Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer working on data warehouse or analytics platform projects.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Shortcuts, Warehouse).
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory / Synapse.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, including Snowpark and streams (or similar concepts).
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, especially dimensional and star schema models.
- Practical experience with dbt
