Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to architecture, development, and maintenance of Snowflake database.
Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines for database integration with GitHub.
Implement and enforce database change management protocols to ensure that all database modifications are systematically reviewed, approved, and documented.
Develop and manage ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Establish and maintain data validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architecture, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve data systems and processes, incorporating feedback and new technologies.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on computer science, data engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in Data Engineering role, with demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Strong proficiency with SQL, git, and database change management frameworks like schemachange.
Experience working with the Snowflake platform.
Self-starter who takes initiative and actively contributes ideas to enhance business solutions.
Uncompromising attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving, with good data intuition (i.e., an ability to look at results and assess their reasonableness)
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced matrixed environment, with a results-driven team-oriented culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Python & functional programming
Exposure to Snowpark API
Proficiency in agile methodologies such as Kanban or Sprints
Healthcare industry experience preferred
