Data Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions while working closely with clients and cross-functional teams.

This role requires strong technical depth in cloud-based data platforms, workflow orchestration, and large-scale data processing.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

• Build and optimize data workflows using AWS services

• Develop and manage data warehouses and data models

• Work with large datasets to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

• Implement workflow orchestration using tools such as Apache Airflow

• Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions

• Follow best practices in version control, CI/CD, and deployment processes

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and DMS

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow

• Strong proficiency in at least one ETL tool such as AWS Glue, Informatica, or Talend

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines

• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling

• Experience working with RDBMS databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

• Experience handling large datasets and building data warehouse solutions

• Proficiency in Python and/or Spark

• Experience using Git and familiarity with branching strategies

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment workflows

• Knowledge of data pipeline optimization and performance tuning

• Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills

• AWS Certification (Associate level) is a strong plus
