As a manager, this person will lead and direct high-priority, data-driven projects, able to manage timelines and develop project plans. These projects include the more technical aspects of reporting and data analysis, which often require considerable resources and high levels of technical and functional integration across agency departments.
This position is ultimately responsible for representing the data analysis team within accounts, managing client expectations as related to data projects, and disseminating necessary information to team members in order to facilitate cooperation and project efficiency. Depth within accounts will vary depending upon the engagement; however, projects can range in effort: Data receipt and preparation, EDA and data integrity resolution, full-blown data reporting development, requirements collaboration, coding, presentation layer development, automation, change control, ad hoc data reporting support, reporting layer development, timeline and deadline management, multitask against multiple client projects
In addition to solely handling small and large data projects, this position must also be able to interpret and communicate technical details to team members and technical information technology client teams, as well as non-technical marketing teams, where appropriate.
The Data Architect responsibilities include:
· Planning and supporting the design and implementation of data centric infrastructure to support the analytics environment.
· Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the organization’s data solutions and leveraging that knowledge to continuously evolve data structure for analytics at the organization.
· Architect data structures for reports and dashboards supporting internal teams and overall self-service infrastructure.
· Assisting the teams, product owners, and organization with implementing data modeling best practices.
· Participating in team collaboration through idea-sharing and brainstorming sessions.
· Provide direction on data migration, data lineage, master data management, and overall data strategy.
· Coordinating with other departments within the organization to effectively understand where additional data resources can be curated to enhance overall analytics strategy.
· Assisting the leadership team to set direction and identify solutions addressing opportunities and challenges.
· Providing ongoing feedback and assessment of project status and issues to the director.
· Demonstrating a hands-on, high energy work ethic and championing a team player attitude.
· Continually evaluate data analytics industry trends and new technologies.
· Prioritizing, coordinating, and managing varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent subject matter experience
· Experience with data architecture, data modeling, database design and the use of data warehouses and data marts.
· Experience with star and snowflake database design and modeling.
· Experience with change data capture and implementing CDC on large scale deployments.
· Experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions
· Experience with Alteryx Server and Self-Service environments
· Experience working in an agile development environment
· Experience with Mongo DB and replication
· Must be thoroughly computer literate and able to learn new software quickly.
