We are seeking for a Data Engineer to support our data and analytics initiatives during a 6-month contract period.
About the RoleAs a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a hands-on role, focused on data integration, modeling, and visualization, working closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders. During this 6-month contract, you will contribute to strengthening our BI infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and accessibility, and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports that support both internal teams and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries to support ETL and reporting needs.
- Develop and manage data integration pipelines to ensure reliable and timely data availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into BI solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of BI reports and dashboards.
- Maintain and enhance BI tools, data models, and underlying infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Automate reporting and data workflows to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users when needed.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments is a plus.
