We are looking for talented data professionals at all levels to join the team. This role reports to the Data Director and will involve close collaboration with the Data Management and Governance team.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a data-driven culture, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively across the organisation
- Lead data enablement initiatives, including the development of our data fluency strategy
- Collaborate with the Data Management team to establish and maintain data standards, ensuring high data quality
- Lead data training initiatives, including the development and delivery of customised data fluency training materials and workshops
- Drive a self-service analytics culture across the organisation, empowering non technical users to understand, interpret and use data effectively
- 5+ years experience in a data enablement or data analytics role
- Strong understanding of Looker and/or a similar analytics platform
- Strong understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in clear, relatable terms to non-technical people
- Experienced in the development and delivery of data training and workshops (or a desire to learn)
Desirables:
- Familiarity with data management and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts
Interview process
Interviewing is a two way process and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, as much as we are getting to know you! Our interviews are conversational and we want to get the best from you, so come with questions and be curious. In general you can expect the below, following a chat with one of our Talent Team:
- Stage 1 - 45 mins with one of the team
- Stage 2 - 60 mins technical interview with two team members
- Stage 3 - 45 min final with an executive and a member of the people team
