WORK ENVIRONMENT:

We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations.  The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members. 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

As the Data Conversion Specialist, you will provide support to banks and credit unions by building data requirements for moving source data from donor systems into the NYMBUS Core platform.  This is a client facing role where you will be a self-starter and have a natural curiosity to learn. You will take on challenges, be a problem solver and drive forward innovations and solutions for clients through data.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a timely delivery and effective implementation of the NYMBUS software and services
• Collaborate effectively  with clients, internal project teams, and project stakeholders is required.
• Test and validate the accuracy of the data converted using reporting and general quality assurance checks. 
• Use SQL and other computer languages to map data and business logic
• Verify conversion programming output against the specifications of the client's existing data
• Lead discussions on business and technical topics while also analyzing and interpreting data
• Coordinate multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and deliver on time sensitive project tasks.
• Maintain a flexible schedule that allows for travel, weekend work, and holiday work when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of  financial industry experience, experience in conversion programming or software development for lending, deposit operations, or information technology
• Proficient with SQL or other programming languages
• Experience with and understanding of programming standards, software development tools, optimization techniques, and technical specifications.
• Banking expertise, including an understanding of deposit operations, retirements, consumer demographics, financial reporting, banking regulations, and PII policies.
• Diligent time management and analytical skills
• Process and detail oriented

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• $70,000 - $80,000 Annual Salary
