Are you ready to shape the future of our enterprise data landscape? As Data Cloud Platform Architect, you will combine strong cloud platform architecture expertise with Data Mesh and Data Product principles to support scalable, well-governed, product-oriented data solutions. You will work closely with teams across the organization to enable decentralized data ownership, improve ways of working, and support faster, more reliable value delivery.
Beyond designing and governing a modern cloud data platform — primarily based on technologies such as Snowflake — you will also contribute to the broader adoption of AI-driven development practices, helping teams make use of new capabilities in a safe, structured, and controlled way. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing transformation of our data landscape and operating model.
Job DescriptionPLATFORM ARCHITECTURE & SOLUTION DESIGN
In this role, you will design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data architectures on the Data Cloud Platform, using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery. You will define reference architectures for data ingestion, transformation, serving, and data product creation, while ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture. By establishing and promoting clear architectural patterns, you will also drive standardization and reuse.
DATA MESH & DATA PRODUCT ENABLEMENT As Data Cloud Platform Architect, you will drive the adoption of Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, data as a product, and federated governance. You will support the design and publication of high-quality data products, while defining and promoting the adoption of clear standards, interfaces, and SLAs. You will also act as a key enabler in shifting the organization to data product ownership.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE & ADOPTION
In this role, you will lead and support enterprise-wide initiatives that drive Data Cloud Platform adoption and improve ways of working. As a change agent, you will help promote modern data practices and strengthen a data-driven mindset across the organization. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will support the introduction of new processes and responsibilities while helping to align domains, teams, and leadership around a common direction.
AI-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION
As Data Cloud Platform Architect, you will promote and enable the use of AI-assisted development and analytics practices, guiding teams in adopting AI capabilities in a safe, governed, and value-driven way.
CONSULTANCY & STAKEHOLDER SUPPORT
You will serve as a trusted advisor for architecture and platform-related decisions, supporting project teams in designing scalable, future-proof solutions. Collaborating closely with engineering, analytics, and IT project teams, you will ensure that platform capabilities and architectural choices effectively support business and technical needs.
ENABLEMENT, TRAINING & GOVERNANCE
In this role, you will help platform users and domain teams get the most out of the Data Cloud Platform through onboarding, training, and continuous enablement. A key part of your work will be defining and maintaining architectural guidelines, governance models, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across solutions. You’ll also mentor engineers and architects across the organization, supporting capability building and the adoption of modern data platform approaches.
