We're proud to share our story and Make Amazing Happen at CDW. candidate will have experience supporting Cisco, Dell, or VMware equipment and will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our data center. This role involves ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our data center infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, and networking devices. • Monitor data center operations and ensure optimal performance and uptime. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues. • Collaborate with network and system administrators to implement and manage data center infrastructure. • Ensure compliance with data center policies and procedures. • Assist in the planning and execution of data center expansions and upgrades. • Maintain accurate documentation of data center equipment and configurations. • Provide technical support and assistance to other IT staff and end-users as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role. • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Dell, or VMware equipment. • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking. • Physically able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds of equipment. The team lift system must be utilized for loads • weighing more than 50 pounds • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Dell EMC, VMware VCP) are strongly preferred. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
