Make Your Mark:
Are you passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making in the dynamic world of financial technology? We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Architect to join our company. As a Data Architect in our dynamic fintech organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure and strategy that drives our financial services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable data architecture that supports our data-driven decision-making processes, compliance requirements, and overall business objectives .
You'll Get To:

  • Data Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior engineering leadership and stakeholders to define and refine the data strategy, aligning it with our business goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Data Modeling and Design: Develop comprehensive data models, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data while maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Database Management: Oversee the selection , configuration, and management of databases and data warehousing solutions, including SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases.
  • Big data: Architect big data platform using a modern data stack and evangelize new technologies to solve complex scaling problems within the data platform team.
  • Data Integration: Implement data integration pipelines to consolidate data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party providers, and external APIs.
  • Data Governance: Establish data governance practices, including data quality, data lineage, and access control, to ensure data consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust data security measures and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and provide training to relevant teams on best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to align data solutions with business needs.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect and leading data strategy for enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in database design, data modeling, and data engineering .
  • Experience with architecting and evangelizing big data technologies .
  • Proven expertise with stream and batch-based data ingestion and processing using spark, kafka , delta lake and presto/ trino .
  • Experience with building enterprise data lake using lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong expertise with scaling search infrastructure that can support web applications.
  • Proficiency with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Experience working on cloud platforms GCP, AWS & Azure.
  • FinTech or Financial services domain background.

Salary Range:
USD $199,300.00 - USD $307,800.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
