We are looking for a Data Architect / Data Integration Specialist to design and define a centralized data ecosystem for a government digital platform. The role involves analyzing multiple disparate systems, defining unified data structures, and supporting the creation of a centralized data warehouse and reporting environment, including financial consolidation and integrated digital services.
This is a strategic architecture role focused on data design, interoperability, and enterprise-wide integration across multiple systems and agencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze multiple systems and data sources across financial, HR, and other government domains.
- Define enterprise-level canonical data models and standardized data structures.
- Design and support implementation of a centralized data warehouse for consolidated reporting and analytics.
- Define data flows, integration patterns, and cross-system data exchange mechanisms.
- Support design of centralized capabilities such as payment processing integration and financial consolidation layers.
- Work with portal and application teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements.
- Define data governance standards, data quality rules, and master data management principles.
- Collaborate with technical teams on APIs (REST/JSON/SOAP), ETL pipelines, and integration services.
- Provide architectural diagrams, data models, and integration specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or enterprise integration
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL concepts
- Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouses or analytics platforms
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, including APIs, batch processing, real-time integration, and messaging
- Experience working with multiple heterogeneous systems and large-scale data consolidation
- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets
- Experience in government or large enterprise environments is considered an asset
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory
