As a Manager on the Data Analytics team, you will lead a team of analysts responsible for delivering actionable insights, scalable reporting, and data-driven storytelling across key areas of Zocdoc’s business. You’ll ensure that our data assets and reporting systems enable leaders to make informed, confident decisions that accelerate growth and improve operational efficiency.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering and Analytics stakeholders to define the metrics that matter, design intuitive dashboards, and drive consistent measurement frameworks across teams. Your team will transform complex data into clear narratives that highlight opportunities, reveal risks, and guide execution.
Beyond delivery, you’ll strengthen our analytical foundation by improving data quality, streamlining reporting workflows, and championing best practices in LookML, SQL, and data modeling. You’ll play a critical role in developing talent, fostering curiosity, and ensuring our analytics team remains a trusted and strategic partner to the organisation.

- Technical Excellence: Ensure the team adheres to technical best practices, particularly in Looker, SQL, and data modeling, to deliver efficient, accurate, and visually compelling dashboards and analytics.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain processes to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality, reliable outputs, aligned with business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align on priorities, set clear expectations, and ensure deadlines are met, building trust and ensuring satisfaction with deliverables.
- Process Optimization: Drive improvements in workflows and team processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall impact of analytics work.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised and reputed institution.
- 10+ years of professional experience in data management, analysis, visualisation, and complex data modeling.
- 3+ years of people management with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring junior analysts
- Advanced expertise in SQL, with a strong ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
- Advanced proficiency in Looker, including a deep understanding of LookML and dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of analytical and semantic data modeling techniques
- Deep familiarity with modern data stack tools, including hands-on experience with data transformation/modeling (e.g. dbt) and pipeline orchestration (e.g. Dagster, Airflow)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with experience in using advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency with Python (or similar scripting language) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and work independently to achieve team objectives.
