Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Allstate Personal Lines Data Calls team. This role is critical to maintaining positive regulatory relationships and supporting data-driven decision making throughout the organization. The successful candidate will manage complicated regulatory data collection processes, oversee data quality standards, and lead a team of data professionals to deliver accurate, timely responses to regulatory requirements.What You'll DoLeadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of data analysts responsible for regulatory data call responses
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth
- Manage workload distribution and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects
Regulatory Compliance & Data Management
- Oversee end-to-end management of Allstate Personal Lines regulatory data calls, including National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) submissions
- Ensure timely, accurate responses to state regulatory agencies and federal requirements
- Maintain positive regulatory relationships critical to operational continuity
- Develop and implement data quality standards and control processes
- Coordinate with Legal, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and other business units for comprehensive data collection
Strategic Analysis & Process Improvement
- Drive data optimization and analytics projects to enhance strategic decision-making capabilities
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
- Partner with technology teams to ensure data solutions comply with enterprise architecture
- Serve as primary liaison with internal and external partners for critical data initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and external data consumers
- Communicate complex project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business intelligence and reporting needs
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty
- 3+ years of management or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory reporting requirements and data calls
- Experience with NAIC reporting standards and state regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and database management systems
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Python and R
- Knowledge of actuarial concepts and insurance data standards
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
